April 23, 2010 marked the 50th Anniversary of Mission Neighborhood Centers (MNC) at City Hall in San Francisco. Serving thousands of people in need each year, the centers support a network of services for infants, toddlers, youth, teens, young adults, families, and seniors. The mission of the organization is to deliver culturally sensitive multigenerational, community based programming that is focused on low income families. “Our organization aims to promote leadership skills that empower families to build strong, healthy, and vibrant neighborhoods,” said Sam Ruiz, ExecutiveDirector, Mission Neighborhood Centers, Inc.
